In the weeks leading up to the 2012 Olympic Games, Procter & Gamble teamed up with Yahoo! for a short video series that would shine the spotlight on mothers of Olympic athletes. The Raising an Olympian series, comprised of two-to three-minute documentary-style videos, showed a mom's-eye-view of what it takes to become an Olympian, and provided a glimpse of the relationships between the driven athletes and their equally committed mothers. This case study illuminates why P&G, a proud Olympics sponsor, and their partner for the series, Yahoo!, chose non-fiction video to connect with viewers and consumers alike.
